TBR Thursday {4} & Possess Giveaway

Welcome back for another weekly confession. This week I purchased just 1 book, well actually 4, but they are all the same book so I'm not sure if that counts as four. My pre-ordered copy of Possess by Gretchen McNeil appeared on my Nook at midnight on Tuesday and I picked up 3 hardcover copies -- 1 for me (I loved it that much), 1 for my sister Katie, and you guessed it, 1 to give away to a wonderful blog follower. Giveaway details below.

Last Book Purchased:

Possess, by Gretchen McNeil

Synopsis from Goodreads:

Fifteen-year-old Bridget Liu just wants to be left alone: by her mom, by the cute son of a local police sergeant, and by the eerie voices she can suddenly and inexplicably hear. Unfortunately for Bridget, it turns out the voices are demons – and Bridget has the rare ability to banish them back to whatever hell they came from.

Terrified to tell people about her new power, Bridget confides in a local priest who enlists her help in increasingly dangerous cases of demonic possession. But just as she is starting to come to terms with her new power, Bridget receives a startling message from one of the demons. Now Bridget must unlock the secret to the demons' plan before someone close to her winds up dead – or worse, the human vessel of a demon king.

Why Did I Purchase This Book?:

In case you failed to notice the countdown widget that was in the upper left hand side of my blog, I have been waiting for this book to come out for months. This is the book of the year for me. Demons? Teenage exorcist? What more could a girl ask for?
